Miracles Abounding!

Hello!

This week has been spectacular. As you may have noticed, I did not send out an email yesterday. Since it was Memorial Day, President Porter decided to switch preparation day from Monday to today, since holidays are a great time to find people at home! :) And I sure am glad he received the inspiration to postpone preparation day. Let me tell you why.

Yesterday we had a wonderful, MIRACULOUS day! One of the Elders had a great idea that we put into action. We went to one of the veterans parks in town, and drew out the Plan of Salvation on the basketball courts and in the parking lot. Then, we walked around for a few hours, talking to everyone that we met. That morning I had prayed that Heavenly Father would send his children to us for us to teach. Well, by the end of the day we had met twelve new investigators (we talked to more than twelve people, but we found twelve who were willing to set up a return appointment and learn more). By talking to everyone we were able to see God's grace in finding those who are prepared to accept the message of the restored gospel. Six of our twelve new investigators are couples (couples=families!). :) It's exciting to see the work hastening. P.S. I'm a little sunburned, but... it's all worth it. Twelve new investigators is more than I've ever found in a week! It's a miracle, if you ask me. :)

And the cherry on top.
This morning, on our way from doing laundry we met a young woman named Mallory. She and her husband have been talking about how they need to find a church. They moved here from out of state in November. We will be giving her and her husband a chapel tour tomorrow.  Heavenly Father is blessing us richly! :)

In other news... I hit my 9 month mark this week. Wow. Time is flying, I can hardly believe I'm halfway through.
